My name is Pau Salgado, DVM, and a PhD student at the Animal Nutrition and Welfare Service (SNiBA) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). I am currently working on a publicly funded project focused on developing a multicriteria model to distinguish low birth weight piglets with normal development from those affected by intrauterine growth restriction. The objective of this project is to reduce body weight variability across different production stages.
