Ingrid Lara Bordin Fernandes holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the Federal University of Uberlândia in Brazil and is expected to complete her Master's degree at Pennsylvania State University in the summer of 2025, after which she plans to continue to a Ph.D. program. She is co-advised by Dr. Tara Felix and Dr. Melissa Cantor. Her research focuses on the long-term effects of Bovine Respiratory Disease on the growth performance, carcass characteristics, and health status of beef × dairy cattle.
