While working in the industry, I realized the significant impact of nutrition on animal performance and the overall profitability of a company. This led me to join Dr. Hans H. Stein's nutrition lab in 2018 as a visiting scholar, where I assisted in and conducted nutritional experiments with pigs. In 2022, I obtained my master's degree under Dr. Carl Parsons and subsequently began my doctoral program, working with both Dr. Stein and Dr. Parsons. My graduate research focuses on nutritional studies with chickens and pigs. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with such distinguished researchers and aspire to one day return to Peru to contribute to the advancement of the animal industry.
