Dr. Greg Krahn is originally from Wisconsin and attended Western Illinois University for his Bachelor’s in Animal Science. He then completed his Masters and PhD at Iowa State University under the direction of Dr. Tom Baas. His Masters work focused on evaluating the impact of birth weight and litter size on pre-wean mortality and his PhD work was determining predictors of high mortality events in commercial wean-finish facilities. Greg currently lived in Jackson MN and is the Manager of Swine Analytics and Technical Support for Research at United Animal Health.
