Izadora Kuneff is originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil. She acquired her veterinarian diploma from UFMG, and in 2017 she moved permanently to the US. After working approximately 2 years with swine production at Smithfield Foods company, Izadora joined NCSU as a master science student under Dr. Eric van Heugten supervision. Over her program, Izadora studied the effects and potential benefits hyper-dosing phytase may have on growth performance and carcass caracteristics on late-finishing pigs under limited floor space allowance. Izadora is currently in her first semester of her PhD program focused on applied swine nutrition, supervised by Dr. Eric van Heugten (NCSU).
